Distribuzione delle applicazioni semplificata e maggiore produttività

L’integrazione di Docker permette agli sviluppatori di rilasciare, e agli utenti di eseguire, un vasto numero di applicazioni sui NAS Synology con un tempo minimo e tutte le risorse indispensabili. Il server SSO consente agli utenti di accedere a tutti i servizi nello stesso dominio con un unico log-in. File Station ora può essere collegato con cloud pubblici in modo da poter navigare e gestire i file senza occupare larghezza di banda.

Sincronizzazione crittografata in cloud più veloce e personalizzabile

La tecnologia smart polling aumenta sensibilmente le prestazioni di Cloud Station, mentre allo stesso tempo riduce il traffico di rete e il sovraccarico dei server. Anche il numero di versioni dei file è personalizzabile per ogni cartella condivisa. Quando si effettua la sincronizzazione con cloud pubblici, in aggiunta alla compatibilità con storage Amazon S3 e WebDAV, è ora possibile impostare una sincronizzazione “a senso unico” e persino crittografare i dati prima di caricarli su cloud pubblici, inviandoli immediatamente su destinazioni offsite per il backup, senza rinunciare alla privacy.

Ripristino backup e controllo “smart version” su file

La nuova funzione di navigazione dei file consente di ripristinare dai backup precedenti un singolo file, invece che un’intera cartella condivisa. È anche possibile ottimizzare automaticamente i dati di backup o snapshot iSCSI LUN quando si raggiunge una quota prefissata o utilizzare l’opzione Smart Recycle, che consente di ridurre il consumo di storage pur mantenendo una flessibilità sufficiente per il recovery point-in-time.

Task manager portatile ed esperienza multimediale ridefinita

Con i nuovi Synology Web Clipper e to-do-list-turned-task-manager, Note Station e DS note consentono di catturare il meglio del web all’interno del proprio notebook, e poi organizzare delle azioni in base ai propri programmi. Scaricando su Station la nuova funzione “preview”, è possibile ottenere un’anteprima di ciò che è stato scaricato, risparmiando tempo e larghezza di banda con download fuorvianti. Con “Cue file support” in Audio Station è possibile navigare a proprio piacimento tra le diverse tracce ad alta qualità dei CD. E per visualizzare le foto su un TV a grande schermo? Ora è possibile grazie a DS photo, che oltre a Apple TV, supporta anche Chromecast e DLNA TV.

Crittografia AppArmor e SMB 3 per rafforzare ulteriormente la sicurezza

AppArmor estende la sua portata a profili per pacchetti, per limitare efficacemente di accedere alle risorse di sistema a software dannosi non autorizzati. Il supporto della cifratura SMB 3 consente ai NAS Synology di garantire trasferimenti di file verso Windows 8 e Windows Server 2012, riducendo la possibilità di manomissioni e intercettazioni quando si spostano i dati attraverso la rete aziendale.

Compatibility and Installation
